When starting a new construction or renovation project, you must first obtain a building permit. Municipalities often require a site plan in order to grant your permit. The plan project of implantation will show the planed location of a building on the property. That's where we come in! The team of land surveyors at Michel Fortin A.G. Plan project and certificate of implantation
Upon completion of the implantation, your land surveyor will give you a certificate confirming in writing that the implantation has been carried out. He then draws up a plan showing the location of the proposed construction in relation to the property limits. Layout operations are governed by the “Regulation respecting standards of practice for staking and layout” of the Ordre des arpenteurs-géomètres du Québec (R.S.Q., c. A-23, r.11 - see OAGQ website).

This term refers to a plan that shows contour lines, elevations, position of public utilities and construction constraints such as: easements, water-front protection zone, municipal zoning and setbacks.
